Is it truly impossible to change your face past a certain age, or do most people simply not change their habits?

This isn't a post about softmaxxing techniques, but it’s worth noting that there are many sutures in the face that don't fully fuse until your late 20s. So, in theory, some change could still be possible. However, most people don’t seem to experience significant changes after their teenage years.

If we consider the idea that a portion of your appearance is influenced by habits—which I'm not necessarily claiming is true, but just posing as a hypothetical—then is it that people generally don't change their looks because it's impossible, or is it more likely that by the time you're 20, your fundamental habits (posture, sleep, chewing, swallowing, breathing, nutrition, exercise, etc.) are so ingrained that most people simply don't alter them enough—I'd argue that most people don't change them at all—to create at least small changes in their facial structure?

Again I'd like to repeat, I'm not entirely sure whether our looks are not determined 100% by genetics or if a (small) portion of it can be changed through habits, (but I also don't reject the latter idea). So my question is posed under this view.

As you grow up your face will just mature and grow in proportion, your bone structure will not change drastically due to habits.
This is why you can identify what your friends looked like when they were younger.
Get implants to change bone structure drastically.

yeah this, but to be fair, the reason why people can recognize people even after decades of not seeing them is their eyes, thats why they say: "the eyes never lie", getting jaw implants will improve your looks for sure, but even with zygo implants, a rhino, people will still recognize you. now do the same with the eyes, get canthoplasty, get colored contacts, different brows, lashes, etc. and people truly wont recognize you at first.

Well it makes sense, eyes are that one feature that is less prone to change, even surgically. Lots of people's jaws and noses change during puberty for example, but the eyes stay almost the same, and even if the shape is changed - you only need minor, almost unnoticeable changes to change your eye shape.

But again, you guys are basing your reflections upon the general rule, and the general rule is that people don't change their habits. Yes, the easiest way to get drastic changes, especially when you're older, is undergoing plastic surgery and/or getting implants, but, my question was framed from a very specific viewpoint.
I am not talking about what will happen and what could happen, because I myself remain unsure if bone structure is changeable through habits even if you start those habits from the moment you're born; my question was whether it could be hypothetically possible.
