I'm kind of a hypocrite when it comes to politics I lean left when it comes to the economy and social safety nets but I'm more on the right when it comes to nationalism and cultural identity. It's a mix that doesn't really fit neatly into one camp.

I know I'm not part of the group but i don't disagree with people having national Pride and asking for sovereignty

I read the news a lot but not political debates

Reading the news a lot is normal, but political debates every day probably has more to do with interest

It’s the most rational stance. Rightoids want to curb immigration and keep cultural values and heritage which is good, but their economic policies will lengthen the divide between rich and poor, and cut welfare benefits and insurance and other safety nets

Leftoids want to keep the social safety nets but destroy the basis of countries by importing hordes of immigrants

There is currently a parliamentary election in Norway, and I had to chosen between social security and immigration. If only the left parties had a sane immigration policy I would have voted for them, but the very same party is responsible for Norwegians potentially becoming a minority in their own country in the late 21st century.

Sadly few parties make a compromise.

Because a compromise doesn't win votes Political patties in the modern world are like tribal jungle groups that
stick to their "lane" because mixing ideas pisses off their hardcore supporters. Like if a right-wing party suddenly starts giving out free healthcare their base might scream "socialism" and if a left wing party talks about preserving national identity, they get called xenophobic Add in media drama, budget, and all the yelling on Twitter, and suddenly the middle ground is risky to pull in votes. It generally requires a very skilled and cunning politician something like this off.
