is it worth dying your eyebrows without dying your hair?

i've been wanting to dye my eyebrows, but i'm having second thoughts because they might turn out darker than my actual hair colour. I would dye my hair if I COULD, but unfortunately I cannot as of rn. has anyone else dyed their eyebrows without dying their hair? if so then did it turn out botched?
