I have a Norwood 3 and I want to get my original hairline back and also lower it slightly but I don’t want to cut hair my since it’s long

I mean you could, but by shaving it you afford your surgeon better visibility in the recipient area. Just shave it for 4-5months as it grows in. Do it in the winter so you can wear a hat.

Also I would recommend restoring the hairline to just natural hairline, you will likely need those grafts you intend to use in the future to restore the midscalp area.

How old is it when you got it? And were you taking treatments like fin?

It can hinder their ability to do the transition naturally. Even if surgeons make no-shave an option and tell you they can do it just as well, the quality of the result will inevitably be hindered. Only can you decide if it is still worth it.

It is better to shave

Also, are you on finesteride? If not, you will get transplant, but the hair will continue to fall

This is what you should do:

1. Get pictures of your hair line now
2. Get on finesteride + minoxidil
3. You might see the growth to nw2-nw1, if not, you will get transplant

You only get the transplant when you are no longer losing hair, do you get it, you must use fin to stop balding, then going for transplant and using fin still, so you will get the best hair line possible and not receeding Once more afterwards

If i were you, i would get both Oral fin and Oral min

Do not be scared by finesteride súde effects, very little people get them and usually lowering the dose or going topical helps

Are you USA Citizen?

Also the guy does hair transplant and seems honest and truthfull, so it is good option to get both Oral min and fin without needing to Visit some doctor

Yeah, I started fin 3 months prior, continued after and then switched to low dose dut once the fin ran out (since it's better).

Yes, he is probably type of doctor that is careful, like think Ing about the future HT, if someone needs

Which is not Bad in itself, but AS you said, might not meet the expectations you have

I have mostly linked the Channel, because of his website that got drugs already prescribed and his helpful videos on the subject

I believe he is from NYC, so his prices must be BRUTAL, with All letters Capital 🫥
