True, however, I feel as if many of my major failures could have been avoided by an hour of serious conversation instead of feeling the repercussions years later and wondering what happened.

I'll just have to move on, perhaps I'll try to confide in one of my school teachers and leech off of their wisdom, however, it's hard to spend any time with them when they have to attend to hundreds of students. This has already helped me realize some of my problems, though that was just a mandatory 10 min talk with my philosophy teacher.

I just wish to find the cause for some of these things so I don't replicate the same failures in the future, and it seems like most of what I did could have been avoided.

I have given up on any bonding with either of my parents as they were planning to kick me out at the age of 18 ever since I was 8 when I overheard them. They wanted me to be a female instead of male but they like my other 2 brothers. I'm out of here anyways i'm moving out next year. I've always gotten hand me downs and been treated like shit by both tbh. They just provide me food and a bed and thats it.

Same. My father never hugged me, never said that he loves me, never showed any compassion. He was just in the same house and provided for food, shelter etc., but he had no interest in any emotional connection. I hate him because of this.
