I never bothered to learn about it but I saw this documentary on canadian tv where this 27 year old guy was taking kratom daily and someday he went to sleep and never woke up? Is it just a lie to prevent us from ascending and feeling good

Well, I don't think there's been any cases where you can say definitely that kratom was the main cause. Fatalities were all in combination with other drugs from what I've seen so I'd be careful mixing it with things like alcohol, benzos and opioids.
