Is latisse better than oral minoxidil?

I want to get longer eyelashes but I’ve been told latisse destroys eye area, then somebody told me it only destroys eye area in rare cases if you apply it badly, I also saw that oral minoxidil turns you into a hairy gorilla and bloats you, so what’s the best option for eyelashes? Is it possible to not get the bad eye area with latisse if I just apply it properly?
