Not necessarily it depends on what the story is. A lot of the time them liking your story could just mean them agreeing or approving of the thing you reposted. For example if you post something abt politics like israel/Palestine or you repost a politician or smth like that then them liking it could just be them agreeing with ur stance. Or even if you post a singer or rapper or entertainer them liking it just means they like the entertainer.

But if ur story is a picture of urself or like a selfie then yes I’d say that’s usually an IOI.
