Is mature hairline real? Difference between mature and going bald?

Are there any legitimate sources as to wtf a mature hairline acutally is. WHat changes does it make to the hair if it's mature? Does someone have a picture that shows the difference between mature and whether you are balding or not? This site has way too little info on this topic for some reason.

mature hairline is cope in most cases, they say mature because they are too insecure to say they're balding.

Pitt has a "mature hairline" his hairline has gone back slightly but no major temple recession. Any temple recession is balding.

i think mature is just slow balding like over decades so you'll still have hair throughout your 20's and most of 30's at least
