I think this is a retarded way of judging if someone has a narrow palate or not. Just smile in the mirror and look if you have dark corridors around the corners of your mouth, that's a good way to tell if youre a narrowpalatecel.

Only if you expand 8mm+, if you don't, you woudlnt have to have a device for mandible
if you do youll iehter have to do sfot which just widens your alveoral or msdo which actually widens your jaw
