Any Switzcels that can give their opinion here?

what profession u have and where are you coming from

do you have or plan to have a lot of capital gains

If you know how to make money, you can make money everywhere. If you don’t know how to make money, you will be poor wherever you go. It’s not about the country, it’s about you!

i literally have 0 qualifications except a high school degree the only options I really have is to work in construction or customer service but i would be able to save up more since I‘ll earn more. I am also not planning to stay forever there just a few years

Switzerland / Austria / Germany has the same living standards. Switzerland has higher salaries, but also higher cost of life. You may earn 3-5 K as a minimum full time salary for a low class job, but you also spend 1-2 K on living cost, 500-1K on your car, 300-1K on food, also you are obligated to have a health-insurance which cost about 500 per month.

Think wisely.

yeah, seems like a minimal gain unless specific profession, high earner or huge capital gains

would not have to worry about any of these since I would live with my parents and they would cover that

But since I would earn more myself I could save up more thats what I am thinking

If you earn money and your parents are ok with you not helping out with the rent, then it’s a good deal, but idk how they would feel about this

If you can live with parents and they help with rent and spendings then live where they live.

they cover everything in austria so yeah

If you’re guaranteed to secure a good job then yes. As said above, the cost of living there is high.

a flat for 1 person is averagely 1.2 k a month (thats what i rent it for lmao)

for food its at least 1k a month

taxes are also 1-2 k range

and shopping is crazy expensive but optional

so you need 5k a month to live comfortably and around 8 k to live perfectly

No you don’t have to pay a lot for Uni. Zurichs best Unis cost 900 per Semester which is peanuts for swiss people. ETH technical Uni in Zurich ranks close to Cambridge btw.

If you're a quiet introverted loner, this is the perfect place for you. If, on the contrary, you're an extrovert, social, in need of friendship, acquaintances, contacts - you'd better rope. Worse and more autistic in this respect is probably only Scandinavia (if that).

An older friend of mine who is Russian who is rich as fuck (actually rich) told me Switzerland is a super boring country to live in.

According to him it's a meme that poor people think Switzerland is some status symbol if you work there. He even said the USA is much better to live and have fun.

Try eating less you fat nigga, who the fuck spends 1k on food per month?
its switzerland, the fucking price on the same steak for example in switzerland is 20 chf, which is 23 euro, and in france is like 7-9 euros

is it that bad damn

i mean i can be both intoverted and extroverted depends on the circumstances and ppl

caanda mogs i can put all my income and investments in a tax free savings acount
but it has a limit each year like 6 thousand dollars i can put in but it increases every year
if i put in more than that i get taxed 1% but only on the amount i go over
for example if i invest 12k i only get taxed 1% on 6k per monthm because it went over 6k
meaning i pay like 4-7% tax a year and it will lower every year because i can deposit more money
thats why drake is so rich
