Is my diet making things worse?

I’ve been dieting at 1300-1500 calories a day for about three weeks now. Lost like 8 lbs not including water weight but I feel like I look uglier now than before. Anyone able to advise me if it’s in my head or not? Thanks!
Btw the first pic is today the other one is from several weeks ago.

1300-1500 is ridiculously low if you're not starving on that you must have low muscle mass, or your body responded to that low amount of calories and your metabolism slowed. Watch this he talks about everything you need to know

Some of what you have lost is water weight if your cals are that low. You should up your calories or this won’t be sustainable. But keep cutting until you get sunken cheeks.
 
Calories in itself is fine, if you're not being active. You shouldn't even feel all that bad/depraved of food.
What you should do though, is increase the activity level and up the calories to 2k or so.
The second pic looks worse, but it's different lightning/skin/distance. Not all that useful.
You should do comparison pictures on a same default basis. I.e. in the morning before food or in the evening before bed, but the food part is important, whether you've ate something or not recently and the things that you've ate.
When you're doing random pics at random times with random conditions - you get random results.

my skin gets worse too when i cut. when im eating according to my appetite i look healthier

I’ve got a 43 inch chest and 14 1/2 arms inb4 fatceps cuz I carry little to no fat on my upper body. I don’t know if that’s low muscle mass or not also I’m eating 180-200 grams protein everyday through lean beef and whey powder.
