Can you tell me if my hairline is good? To me it seems like the left side is stronger than the right one, am I going crazy?

What should I do if I have to fix it?

thanks bro! would you recommend dut over finasteride? some here say the sides are possibly bigger. where can I buy it online? what dose should I start with?
Yes, I recommend just hop on Duta instead of Fin IMO. Everyone has a different option. It’s common for hair loss to progress after some time (a long time like 10 years) with Fin and they usually have to use Duta to prevent further loss, and sometimes Fin isn’t strong enough depending on how aggressive, so I just say hop on Duta and just go all in on saving your hair off the rip.

Sides are hit and miss. Some experience sides with Fin and not with Duta and vice vera.

You can get it from an online pharmacy. Just fill in their shitty form and they just send it to you like...

fuck man, is it possible just from one side? what should I do?
Yeah its normal that norwooding starts on one side. I'd start with oral minoxidil 2.5mg and see how it goes. If norwooding still persists then u need to hop on finasteride

so minox before finasteride? do you know where can I get them from? I'm from UE (or should I go to a derm?)

Nvm u should do both at the same time. Minox for regrowth. And fin for prevention. No need for a prescription, u can buy fin online, and u can buy Kirkland minoxidil online then drink it, 1 drop with the standard dropper is 2.5mg

It’s not bad, you need to stop further loss so hop on Fin/Duta ASAP. If it hasn’t been long since the recession then Duta can possibly enlarge the follicle and cause some regrowth, if it’s dead then there’s no saving it, unless you hop on minoxidil.

Prevention is best, and you can prevent a lot of further loss, just don’t wait.

So if I was you i’d go straight to Duta and maintain your hair and assess in 9-12 months if there is some regrowth. If not then you can try minoxidil, however personally I think minoxidil is shit (I had previously used it for ~2 years)

I don’t think you will need minoxidil personally, if you maintain this hairline with Duta forever that’s a win.

Some people do have an asymmetric hairline but in your case I see clear miniaturization so yes you are approaching Norwood 1.5. Hop on Finasteride as soon as possible assuming you are at least 18, echoing the other sentiments here.

I do prefer Dut to Fin. But start with Fin. I use Hims.com and have no issues.

The hair at your front looks clearly thin actually. That's a big sign it's not just an asymmetric hairline. You are beginning to thin at the front too. Those hairs look weak and brittle. What is your hair loss count like in the shower and such?

You can get it from an online pharmacy. Just fill in their shitty form and they just send it to you like amazon.

You can do 0.5mg daily. Of you can afford 1.5mg - 2.5mg then you can do that also, will be slightly more effective (serum DHT remains similar but scalp DHT suppression is a bit more with 1.5mg - 2mg)

And don’t start with Oral Minox like someone mentioned above. That just asks the problem and in a year or 2 you will he hella hair loss. Just Fin/Duta OP and you are good.

I'd definitely hop on a 5ARi at the very least. This is the age where men start to experience AGA. I've been on Finasteride since age 21 and have maintained my norwood 1 at almost age 24. You have a solid hairline and good hair anyways. Try to preserve it.

Dutasteride is fat soluble. The branded Dutasteride (Avodart iirc) has the Dutasteride pill with fat in it, so you can just swallow that and be done. You can buy the generic version which is cheaper, but the pill doesn’t contain fat. You can just take it with your meal at any time of day and it will be just as effective.

Not sure how much difference it really makes. Even if budget isn’t a problem, may be worth just taking generic with a meal, maybe better long term in terms of cost. Either works perfectly fine.

It seems not. You will have to look into local pharmacies near you.

ur hair loss is barely noticeable, might not even exist since we don’t have any before pics

but 0.5 mg of fin every other day is a good preventative treatment in early stages

May be an odd question, but could OP get some body or facial hair transplanted to his corners to fill in his hairline? IDK if any surgeon would do it but considering it's just the hairline and the rest of his hair is thick...

I was wondering if surgeons would do this so someone can get that thick juvenile hairline back.

Thats what oral min is for. Btw op. Just buy kirkland minoxidil om ebay. Dut wont thicken up your hair. Only minoxidil can do that
