bite down and look at your back teeth the upper teeth should sit slightly above ur bottom teeth
if they sit inside your palate is narrow
also u should be able to fit your tongue comfortably at ur palate. this could also be a sign

They touch very slightly but I also have a tiny bit of recession so it may not be the palate
