I was at the orthodontist and I’m going to have scans on the 21st of January but wanted to know in advance if it seems narrow, so that I can have palatal expansion.

Nah I don’t get treatment, what happens is that when I was much younger maybe 7 they extracted a tooth because there was no space and it would hit all the teeth out. So they removed it when the adult tooth hadn’t even came in and that’s why the tooth is so out of place

Yes. It's extremely narrow. if an orthodontists says "let's do 5-6 MM" tell them to go fuck themselves.

You need a whole ass CM

Also bro, I can barely breathe through my nose I have to forcefully do it and it sounds like a jet engine to the point where others ask why I breathe so loud

As for facial aesthetics bro you can check my other posts in lowk chopped and my midface looks like it’s about to collapse 🥲. Also got no infraorbitals support and like pretty sure my maxilla is recessed

Your IMW I promise you is sub 30. The average for a male is 40. 1 CM wouldn't even be enough. 1 CM would be conservative for where you're at

You don't have any noticeable preexisting asymmetries you should be fine expanding a lot. If anything goes wrong you can turn back the device and remove it too. You genuinely have nothing to lose and everything to gain

Pretty sure the only one in Sweden Stockholm is aquadental, right now I’m with folktandvarden which are not airway based but I’m having scans with them which they’ll send to aqua dental to see if I need the palate expander. Not joking though she said that I probably don’t need it

Yeah man, I’ve complained about breathing issues for years and have always felt my palate was to little. Yet they never did anything but extract a tooth when I actually needed expansion.

No questions come to mind TBH.. During my consultations I'd just act retarded and ask "Um.. What's the average palate width of a guy.. I'm hoping to get there" "Do you think this could be a good treatment for sleep apnea...?" "I'm really hoping to get a wider smile.. Could this help" "I'm not ready for surgery and wanted to do expansion, to hopefully avoid it"

For the lab report, If I was in your position.. I'd primarily mention how:
- I have a crossbite
- Tongue too big for my mouth, causing scalloping
- Mention how your breathing is shit, and you had a procedure which didn't help, you know it has to do with your palate now
- Sleep apnea (even if not true, just say you keep waking up gasping for air)
- Want to avoid double jaw surgery, and think expansion is a conservative option


I had my own consultations and them measuring my palate and taking scans was enough.

Only person who denied me, only treats severe crossbites. you have a severe crossbite if teeth were uprighted.

Actually I do have all of those problems sometimes Il wake up and feel like I’m being suffocated and have no air at all. And I also noticed that the teeth on my lower jaw are pressed inward, however like you say, if they were straight my upper jaw would look out of place and significantly to narrow, is there a reason my teeth are like this. But honestly that could also be a good thing as with expansion, they can simply tip my lower jaws teeth to make my teeth into occlusion
