I know I was already told I needed one by the ortho but I have to wait for my last two teeth to grow in also how will a palate expander make me look better besides giving me a broader smile

An expander will widen your maxilla and give your teeth more space to get into proper position. I had a narrow palate when i was younger i got it when i was like 9 and got it off when i was 11 then i got braces to fix my overbite and functional shift which i still currently have. My mandible is asymmetrical but my maxilla is fairly wide after orthodontics, could still be wider tho but a LOT better than it was before. I had a brutal FWHR jfl

Well i was like 9 when i got it my parents insurance paid for most of it and they paid the rest. Get a consultation from a good orthodontist and make sure they're good cuz orthos sometimes screw people up.
