Is norwooding on the sides also a part of male pattern baldness?

You can barely see the trace of my side hairline that once was fully there. I traced it so it's easier to notice.

Usually it’s the temples mostly?

Usually a sign you're moving towards Norwood 2.

Well, they're gone. I have a NW3 but my hair is thick enough to cover it up properly. I've been experiencing thinning and recession on the sides since about 18.

Yes it is. A lot of guys suffering from hairloss have hair going straight up from the sideburns

Why arent you on fin?

Because my natural hairline isn't worth maintaining. My hair is dry as fuck and no shampoo/conditioner fixes it. I used a flat iron on my hair for 5 days daily at 310 degrees Fahrenheit, which I think fucked it up forever.

I'll be getting a hair system by the end of this year, but if my sides are also receding, then I don't even know what to do...

They are called temple points btw and pretty crucial in framing the face...

it is also what can make or break your hair transplant/hair system because a perfect hairline with receeded temple points looks off

Worst case scenario I can shave the sides and have something like this

but then I'd have to hop on fin which I don't wanna do
well you will not receed behind temple points. Strong temples points from hairtransplant + hair system has some potential

i have this but i cant tell if its just because my barber didnt shave my sides properly

all my hair loss is from the front/temples

forget about fin and save up for that hair transplant ur gonna need it real soon

What part of "used to" do you not understand? You've never seen @DarknLost either?

i didn't mean to imply you still were. it's just bizarre to see an ex-emo on PSL because all of them go from being prettyboys in hs to gradually beginning to look like skrillex with more tattoos.

Hair transplant is a stupid solution for many of us we are thinning out everywhere and don’t want to take Fin and become low T soyboy

hair system is the only way

Instead of that I went on to 4chan and eventually found myself on PSL

Unlucky OP, hairs on your temple is one of the main thing that gives hair halo and frames your FACE.

I've noticed that people who are norwooding but have strong triangle shaped temple hair don't look as bad as they could

Yeah, give any man without temple points hair on the temples and see how much his PSL improve, it is insanely important for framing your face, it is what gives you that square broad forehead/hairline look.

When did you use the iron? I doubt it can ruin hair forever, just your current hair which can be fixed by cutting it and waiting for regrowth
