There is no scientific evidence proving that minoxidil actually ages the face.

Oral minoxidil DOES come with the serious possibility of cardiac side effects though.

If it's worth it you need to decide yourself. Most people don't get serious side effects.

Edit: Oral minoxidil will pretty much increase hair growth anywhere where you have hair follicles, meaning body and face/scalp. That ofc includes eyebrows and lashes. What minoxidil cannot do is create new follicles. So it only works where actual hair follicles already exist which is why theres no point using minoxidil on a scalp area that went bald years ago for example.
