Being racist can be taught the same way being not racist can be taught

There is that experiment where they had babies (both white and ethnic) choose between a white doll and a black doll and the babies all (or almost all) chose white. I guess it is part of our nature

Because of the effects of Racists telling black people yhat their nose, lips, natural hair is ugly.

But they are babies, they can’t even comprehend that. They go with their natural instinct.

Then how do you have 5-8 year olds in black school today bullying each other about being “ black/dark as hell” “ nappy ass hair”

You are right, I just looked it up again and ages of the kids were 3-7. I was thinking they were much younger, but 3-7 is enough to be influenced by our culture.

Racism certainly can be taught. But that doesn't mean it has to be in order for people to develope it all on their own.

I don't care who you are. Everybody's racist. Liberals most of all. But just because somebody's racist doesn't mean they're a bad person, and can't treat everybody they meet on an individual basis.

it was kids not babies, the whole pt was to show that some aspects of racism are kinda taught

that experiment was a pivotal part of the Brown v Board case too as it showed discriminatory natures were pushed onto the kids

(edit o i read the rest of the thread, u already changed ur opinion nvm)

My grandma is black and when i was a baby everytime i would see her i would start crying but she had a friend that was white and i would laugh everytime i see him, i actually remember those memories even if they are very disturbed cause i was a baby but at the end i think its about attractiveness cause my dad is black and i was not crying when i was seing him.

In group preferences are natural but alot of racism is taught or absorbed from the environment or observation.
