I currently sell cheats for games and it's brought in around $6,800 this month. It's good money but think I could make more. I have close to 1,000 users (lifetime) which comes with less sales over time. I can create new cheats (under a different identity) and add better features to them (which I'm already aware of which would work insanely well) but still keep my old ones updated so it doesn't look like I'm exit scamming but is that fucked to do? They got what they paid for since it's still being updated so 🤷‍♂️

I sell cheats, I want to change the name of them and resell it under a different identity to bring in more money. Old cheats would still work just likely wouldn't be updated that much, is this okay?

Just upsell your current userbase and that way you don't need to start fresh.

Yeah I've had people asking for a feature that nobody else has. Do you think I should just be like "If you want it that bad, just go buy ___" or make an announcement?

No. Announce to your users that you are going to release either some different software that can be used in conjunction with what people currently use, or you are going to release the next version with more features.
Let's say you have a Free Plan and a Pro Plan, but lots of people have bought the lifetime Pro Plan.
Sell them an even-more-Premium plan at an additional expense, but discount it for those who are on the lifetime plan. So they can pay for the Premium features but revert to Pro lifetime if they ever want to. Those who don't have Pro lifetime will pay the full subscription price.

It's very important that you don't downgrade the Pro plan, only offer MORE features with your new plan.
