China is way above it economically.

Russias economy has the size of Italy's. It just has a big military and nukes.
And yes it is a backwards dictatorship with a very strong underground mafia. Literally any credible russian will tell you that. I don't think it's necessarily Putins fault. He might actually care about Russia as a nation and its people but knows that the whole country is fucked due to 70 years of communism. If they would turn demoratic their whole country would implode and collapse. Its a multiethnic state with many having their own nationalistic tendencies and other ideologies. The western part of russia defo belongs to Europe longterm so that fraction will probably turn towards Europe again pretty soon (if they dont collapse).

The only thing they have is gas and oil so they can control Europe a little but Putin fucked up big time with his invasion. Russias birthrate is also another huge problem.

Main thesis -> the west handled the situation stupid asf and could have prevented the whole thing. Ukraine would be better of with the EU + NATO but since Russia wont let them go they should have calmed and make Ukraine a neutral state.

What do you consider based? You won’t have to worry about “SJW” culture, or effeminate things that people are very sensitive about in western countries.
