Is someone running a online shop?

Im thinking about importing stuff from alibaba and selling it on a online shop. Advertising on instagram and google ads.
Anyone already had success?

Rl friend of mine does that. Makes like 2k per month. He buys cheap and sells on his website and sells platforms like Ebay.

He works like 15-20 hours a week with packaging administration ordering stuff answering email etc.
Orders stuff on aliexpress. Test them out. Repackage them and sells them.

He doesn't dropship since his inventory is at his home.
Key element is finding good products that people buy with like marges of 2 a 3 times the investment price and good customer services. Bad ratings online is suicide for his business.
If people complain its bad he immediately gives the money back or sends another products even when taking loss.

Mainly clothing from unknown brands. Some posters and gas lighters. You need to find the right product. Some sell like shit and some are insane moneymakers.

highly competative market place. Because alot of popular youtube coaches, sell programma/courses on how to do this. So alot of people try it. So competative.

Alot of people. are dreaming and hopeing to start this. Make money online well. Go live in some cool cheap place, travel, chill, and work a few hours per day at the beach on their laptop. type of lifestyle dream
