Is surgery usually first thing in the morning?

I can barely get to my 8 am classes on time let alone a damn surgical center

I need to be at the hospital at 6:45AM for my surgery, you get anesthetize, it is irrelevant if you are tired when you get there.

Idk, you want to give your body all the chances to respond well to the surgery, seems preferable to be well rested.
 
A busy plastic surgeon will do several surgeries throughout the day, depending on the lengths of each one, so you aren't guranteed morning.
 
Yeah always had mine in the mornings.
