Is Taban worth the cost?

Had a consultation with taban, he quoted me $17,700 for infraorbital rim implant, lower lid retraction, and upper eyelid fillers. Is he really that much better than other doctors?

its not like lower lid retraction surgery requires extreme specialised skill like canthoplasties
plus the implants will be off the shelf and thread fixated

so u could consult with another doctor maybe eppley or yaremchuk, get custom infraorbitals that could provide elevated lower lid so you would not need lower eyelid retraction surgery
ue fillers can be performed by most surgeons aswell

and i get a feeling taban migh be overhyped
except his custom orb decompression

except if you find an experienced doc in europe that i havent yet

Well I got a canthoPEXY and the guy who did it didnt do a great job. Its been permanent, but he was too conservative and I never really have been overall happy with the results

Yeah this, fat is more unstable and can also have side effects like weird bumps appearing on the outside of ur skin. Plus fillers last longer than they are advertised and even more so if u get a second round of fillers, the more rounds of fillers u get the longer they last

Taban isn't comfortable doing those anyways. I asked him he says reults are too unpredictable

tbh i don't care about money so i can earn and get every 2 years after the procedure, i'm just curious about if fillers are safe. it might be safer than fat grafts but still some doctors refuse to use fillers on upper eyelid.

u dont have visible sclera in those pics and you dont have that bad eyes
an implant would be more than enough for you for the under eyelid bump
and fillers would help u
but overall not that bad eye area
