I like the idea of there being an afterlife but I can't bring myself to believe it. Would be nice to speak to people I love again. Though as you said that would kinda make this life pointless. I prefer the idea of reincarnation. Though again hard for me to actually believe it

Yes for we are created and are sentient, be able to question from early infancy. Everything points out that there is a purpose and we will be held accountable for it. Either salvation or being dammed

If you look at r/astralprojection they all believe that the soul is immortal and the body and the mind are really 2 different things. And when you look at those people their ''out of body'' experiences you know what i mean. And what do you think about sleep paralyzed people who cannot control their body even when they try as hard as possible. I am also convinced that there is more by all those near death experiences where people see their loved ones.

I really believe your soul gets reincarnated but not like in the construct time as we know it. But all this do not matter and no-one knows what is in the afterlife. In the end you should enjoy your life and try to be a good person is i think all what matters.

no one has actually had their organs irreversibly fail and come back so we don't know, however those who have had lazarus syndrome all present different accounts of what happened while they were gone which means there probably isn't an afterlife
