I genuinely need to know if I’m crazy or she’s crazy. So a little background:

My mom left her parents’ home because she couldn’t stand their alcoholism and fights.

She has no real friends at 45.

She has no relatives to rely on. Not a single one. They either stopped talking to her or she burned bridges and doesn’t talk to them.

Her daughter left her and doesn’t talk to her.

She was married twice and divorced twice.

I had no father in my life growing up.

I didn’t have cousins, uncles, aunts, grandfathers or grandmothers because I was isolated from them.

I had to travel many times as a kid because her last husband was trying to get custody of their kids and she was running away.
