Is their a reason people think they look so much better at 3am in the mirror rather then when they go out in the day?

I hear a lot of people get a confidence boost late at night and see people post videos about it even tho they look exactly the fucking same , is their a reason this happens?

Yes it's called sleep deprivation which impairs your cognitive function

If its dark outside and you have light above you only, your face doesnt show all the imperfections such as skin issues or eyebrows/lips, it can also make your eyes look brighter

You’re bloated in the morning and most likely debloated at night if you’re active and drink a lot of water

yeah but ive tested it myself whenever I feel confident at night I just take a picture of myself and look at it the next day and realise I looked exactly the same and I was confident for no reason so I do believe its something to do more with mental
