Is there a maximum to the size of your facial bones?

If you were to chew all day long would there be a point where your bone growth would cap out? If yes, why? Does the stress distribution through the skull eventually just become so good that you'd need extreme forces to cause any further stimulation?

There will probably come a point beyond which it will be difficult to stimulate the jaw to grow further.
