Ever since puberty, my face has just been a swamp of oil, every time I wake up, my face is drenched and shiny, every single day I’ve had to pat down my face three-four times I day. Besides all the fucking acne, it even makes me feel sluggish or something, knowing l have all this sticky greasy shit on my face, it saps my energy.

is there any possible way to get rid of sebum production? I know that it’s so that you don’t get wrinklesbut I don’t give a fuck, I’d take that over grease any single day. I’ve never not done normie bs advice, I’ve always drank a lot of water andate a lot of fruits, never ate much junk food.

I’ve used probably ten different brands of neutrogena acne washes, different topical shit, vitamin a, vitamin b5 nothing works

Is there anything that I can do besides accutane?

cleanser and moisturizer suitable for your skin. seems like you have really oily skin.

cum wad face mask once a week, you’ll be straight

tretonoin lowers oil production

you don't wanna get rid of all sebum forever, your skin will dry out and become flakey. Sebum helps your face retain moisture.

dont care i hate it so much

Only solution would be Accutane but that is extreme considering you don't have cystic acne. A good skin regimen is probably your best bet for better regulating sebum production.

Niacinamide 10% from the Ordinary. It's vitamin b and decreases sebum production.

What is all this cope

All of this is cope

Hilarious cope

Excess sebum=enlarged pores for life, later on cystic acne if you are younger than age 14, and it's a sign of fucked up testosterone levels as well

Accutane fixes it for good but if you are in puberty might hinder some of your potential growth.

If you aren't a manlet don't worry about it.

If you don't have acne done take accutane.

sebum production is so important, rather than try and change the amount of sebum your body produces why not focus on the quality of sebum through diet?

DP3 showed a positive association with acidic skin pH before adjustment for potential confounders. This result agrees with our preliminary study, which found that a dietary pattern characterized by a high intake of seeds and nuts, and fruits was positively associated with acidic skin pH in healthy Korean adults [45]. Therefore, the antioxidants, vitamins and polyunsaturated fatty acids in seeds and nuts, and fruits seem to be related to improved skin pH. In this regard, we reported that increased skin pH could be reversed by dietary supplementation with borage oil containing LA and GLA in an essential fatty acid deficient guinea pig model [46], suggesting that omega 6 fatty acids, especially LA and GLA in seeds and nuts and eggs might play an important role in improving skin pH. On the contrary, DP4, which is similar to the Western diet, had a negative association with acidic skin pH in overall subjects. As explained above, DP4 could increase insulin and IGF-1 levels, which could lead to an increase in skin pH by inducing abnormal skin conditions such as the hyperproliferation of skin cells [47].
