Is there any way to hide the horseshoe shadow on my balding head?

I am roughly NW4.

I want to hide the fact that I am balding, and I can't just wear hats 24/7.

HT and SMP both seem viable, but I will probably be looking into those later in the future.

When I shave fully bald with a razor, there is still a slight shadow and you can kind of see my recessed temples and crown (it is very faint but still visible).

Is there any way to get rid of the shadow on a completely shaved head or somehow "tint" my scalp a darker color (i have black hair) to blur the balding shadow?

Even a temporary solution would be ideal.

I have tried Toppik on a very short buzz cut but it still looks kind of fake.

If only there was some way to hide the shadow on a completely shaved head OR hide the baldness on a buzz cut with some sort of dark "ink".
