no shit it damages ur hair. idk OP's natural hair color and how light he wants to go. I'd say don't go more than 3 levels lighter than your natural color if you want this as a permanent style. When going more than 3 levels lighter, have peace with the fact that you're gonna have to shave it all off at some point

could you have provided me with a pic with worse lighting jfl? I think you are about a level 3/4 so a level 6/7 would be the lightest for you. So like a light brown/dark blonde
