My wife probably understands me better than anybody else. She's still far from completely understanding me though so the answer to your question is no.

My parents, friends and family never understood me and never will. I'm too different than any of them.

My best friend in highschool understood me well. Probably better than my wife does now. He was killed 3 years after graduation though. He was probably the only person who ever really understood me.
