most people who claim that don't know what it actually means, if you keep talking to them about it, you'll find out that they actually have a lot of people they can hang out with, they just go to school so they want to have time alone.

the question is whether there is anyone who who wouldnt mind living the rest of his life somewhere on an island or somewhere in the woods in canada

There's one chap named "Rupert Pupkin" that would be interested in living like that @BrahminBoss

No one could do that. Humans are social creatures. I used think I could but after being isolated in university I know that’s not true. I do find socialising to be an effort sometimes but I need to here and there cause without any at all I’d go mad.

I can go without human interactions for a looong time.

How long ?

Months, if i really wanted it i could live in some cabin in a very deep forest and not be troubled by it.

I'd only go out to buy food.

Yeah but not forever. No one could do it forever

I can have a GF next to me and hang out with people since I'm beautiful. I'm just mentally ill and anti social :)
I prefer eating alone, I prefer watching a movie with some pizza or some solo activity. I prefer to play video games (don't mind with people) but not physically around me.

I have zero social anxiety. I just truly find people boring and annoying. I still get people inviting me to places after years but I refuse to go. Women are annoying and a casual head is enough. People are annoying when you don't deal with them online.

However, I can't do the extreme you described. There's something truly tasteless about it, even if you're anti social. Like, there's nobody to exploit or mog or all that type of shit. It's like how anti socials still think about other people and how to overcome and mog them or whatever.

What's the point of being completely alone? you need to live even for the simplest competition with other humans. Maybe if you live with wolves and dogs and in that way mimic some social contact aspects it's possible. Completely alone? I might be able to do it, but that sounds terrible.

Yeah but in the woods you don't have temptation, you don't get mogged, you don't see couples, you forget about the standard life trajectory etc it's not like you feeling alone in university.

Yeah, but it sounds like we are both schizoid ( not to be confused with schizophrenia )

People who "like" to be a lone are just coping or actually mentally ill
Humans are social beings

People drain your energy, keep your circle small is all I'll say

Social anxiety

Rest of my life completely isolated? No, I need internet access for my copes. And lube for jerking off.

it's about being completely isolated + having alternative sources of (junk) socialization at your disposal (like this forum) + being delusional about how good your future will be

the first component alone is never enough
