Retinol is a very good idea. You can dermaroll your face too because I've seen very good results with that and the dermarolling will stimulate collagen production AFAIK. Lips are a bit harder to fix but you can exfoliate them and put on tinted chapstick to give them a better color. Just make sure they aren't dry and do your best to keep them moisturized and looking healthy instead of dry/dull.

I personally can't vouch for a particular retinol brand or speak on whether CeraVe has any kind of bad ingredients in it but as far as I know CeraVe makes good stuff. I use their moisturizers. I think there is probably another person who can give you better advice on which retinol to buy.
