My derm recommended me several things, one of which is applying head & shoulders to my face. This shocked me, anyone heard anything about this or used themselves or is it just cope?

The fact is that Head & Shoulders contains ZINC PYRITHIONE, which helps clear up 2 skin conditions:

1) SEBORRHEIC DERMATITIS (aka Face Dandruff) where you get flaky patches on your eyebrows, ears, hairline, and around the nose
2) PITYROSPORUM FOLLICULITIS (aka Fungal Acne) which gives you lots of little whiteheads

However, if you have hormonal breakouts or mask acne, using Head & Shoulders on your face could make your skin worse.

The only way it would help is if you have fungal breakouts, which I'm guessing your acne is hormonal. So the only way to keep that at bay is by applying tretinoin and a salicylic acid cleanser

fuck im just gonna try it out and see if it works, she also prescribed me doxycycline hyclate and aklief. Also told me to get 10% benzoyl peroxide, and cetaphil something, all cope?

Derms are a waste of time, they have a process of things that a patient has to use first before they can prescribe the next thing etc. You’d probably be on at least 3 other products before you’d be able to get something like accutane. Online pharmacies are the way

It might be on alldaychemist or pct.zone. Tret cream is a lot easier to get.
