When I hear people talk about their hookups, their relationships, etc, I feel anger because to me it is just telling me that nearly everyone my age is too shortsighted to see how this dynamic ends up becoming the 80-20 cock carousel + tons of cheating, to the point absolute gigachads can be cheated on. If your wife has slept with X number of men before finally marrying you, now you have to outdo every single man in her history in every possible way - be more attractive than the sexiest one, a better conversationalist than the best talker amongst them, and so on. You have to be the man that is the best parts of all of them combined or better. And even then, you won't know if she still has lingering feelings for any of them, since women also fall for a man when the stars line up (aka there was, long ago, something about her living situation at the time that made a particular man extremely convenient and hassle-free, and thus sexy, and so she will dream about those days even when she is married.)

The more intensely sexual her past was, the more stimulating the next man has to be. It's like drugs - you need a higher dose to get high again.
