My friend worries about his maxilla and thinks its recessed because of how the nose looks. For me anything else is fine but the nose is weird with his jaw. If its recessed or something else can u give some tips for him?

he just has a low nasal root, it occurs in some european populations but you mainly see it in africans and asians.

they can fix it with some filler but I've never actually seen anyone improve from doing so.

infraglabellar notch.

it's more often a good feature than it's not because it makes your brow and orbitals appear more prominent.

Yeah I was about to say I caint really see any signs of maxillary recession for this guy his eyes look to have to undereye support with no concavity and the maxilla looks pretty parallel to the nose

you can't really call it recession it's just a feature some populations have, in europe it's mainly those with celtic admixture.

Basically a low nose bridge, it's a nose bridge morphology thing.

A low nose is bridge is one where the nasal root is less pronounced, and the nose appears flatter, it is common among populations from warmer and humid climates, such as Southeast asias, East Asians, and Sub Saharan Africans.

The nose bridge is influenced by the nasal root bone, the nasal bones, the frontal bone, the maxilla and the cartilage.

Basically the drier or the more arid and colder the climate the more prominent the nose bridge will be, except in extreme cases of cold like we see with the Sami people or the indigenous Arctic people I think because while the Arctic climates are cold, they are not uniformly dry.

Thought it was in Eastern Europe, in places like eastern Finland, some Slavic regions and some areas in the Baltics where these bridges are common because they usually add "concave-snub-noses" to most phenotypes from there.

Idk if I agree with you tbh I’ve never seen a Portuguese chad tbh only chadlites and I’m talking about online. But why did it all go wrong why are Portuguesecels so much worse looking than spanish even though they are practically the same region? And yea I agree with the villagers are all fetal alcohol inbreds

it's not like the spanish look good, I've been to lots of villages along the coast of the entire mediterranean and they all got the same look.

As a north Slav, I have never in my life seen a person with a nose like that irl unless they were Asian or African.

Which populations have the highest nasal roots? Curious
