Long story short. I was speaking to this Moroccan girl since July. We was essentially ready to meet. We did the virtual stuff all I needed to do was book a flight. But I started getting second thoughts and thinking I have better options. To be brutallt honest a part of me wanted to keep her as a second option.
One day approx 6 weeks ago I tell her this during a video call:
"I wouldn't blame you if you found someone in Morocco and it's the same for me here if I found someone in the UK, because to be with you is more difficult and will take longer"
She seemed visibly disappointed. Her Comms drop off. Today marks one week since she hasn't responded to me.
Was this really bad to say? I mean I kinda of meant it I was being realistic. I told her if we were both in the same country we probably could have met already and even discussing marriage. But the only thing keeping us apart from escalating the relationship was distance. I didn't know how else to say this... Maybe I deserve it...
