Also, you could be giving yourself a copper deficiency, not goodYes, zinc accumulates in your body. Note that 11mg is the RDA, so it is the MINIMUM daily dose, the upper limit for it is 40mg/day. Two double doses of zinc is already 30mg, plus things like beef, liver, oysters, eggs and other foods in your diet also contribute to your intake is you may be getting well over 40mg.
Getting above the RDA for fat-soluble minerals and vitamins occasionally isn't exactly bad, but consistently doing it will give you issues eventually. Supplementing with 15mg and eating a healthy diet probably already has you well above covered when it comes to zinc, double dosing is unnecessary and probably dangerous long-term (because mineral and vitamin toxicity take weeks or months to actually develop, but once you get it the symptoms last a while).
