Is transferring uni a death sentence?

My dads forcing me to go to uni this year to a uni I don't want to go. I'll transfer where I want to go 2nd year. Is that a death sentence for me?

I'm talking about slaying , entering social circles and having an overall fulfilling uni social life with memories( and lots of slays). I alo heard that many people meet their future partners at uni so I need to be looksmaxxed. But 2nd year means everyone would have knwn eachother for a year and I 'd be the odd one.
