Is wearing coloured contacts actually useful?

Wearing contacts would make you more exotic and appealing with rare eye colours, but if you end up getting a girl, and she finds out you are wearing coloured contacts (meaning it's all fake) wouldn't the appeal of the contacts become useless then? Because she knows it's not real anymore so what's the point of wearing it. And won't she find you less attractive knowing this?

yeah but it doesn't change the fact that it changes your eye colour and she can see that it changes when you put the contact on?

Easy solution. Just take them off after she sleeps and put them on before she wakes up. How hard is it
