Saw some comments that he's shaky and senile nowadays. I didn't get that impression when I had a (very short) consultation with him.

I don't have knowledge about implant design. That's why Dr. Y seems like a good option because he has an eye for aesthetics.Tbh I think surgeons to blackpillers are just tools, you should have an idea of projection, material and aesthetic goal and be able to judge a persons design, as long as 3D planning is included, you can suggest projection and fitting angle it should be fine, the after can be tuned up with slight fillers.
Agreed, Rameri seems good too, I’m going to consult with Coeaciag about implants and see if he has any good resultsI don't have knowledge about implant design. That's why Dr. Y seems like a good option because he has an eye for aesthetics.
I do like that you don't mind traveling. But are there not any capable surgeons in your country or city of origin? Traveling is fun; the more countries you travel to, the better!Agreed, Rameri seems good too, I’m going to consult with Coeaciag about implants and see if he has any good results
Dont worry, they wouldnt give a single fuck if you had knowledge.I don't have knowledge about implant design. That's why Dr. Y seems like a good option because he has an eye for aesthetics.
Australia, Dr C is close fortunatelyI do like that you don't mind traveling. But are there not any capable surgeons in your country or city of origin? Traveling is fun; the more countries you travel to, the better!
A kid has offered to show his results, so there you go!! Where are you from?
Makes sense.Australia, Dr C is close fortunately
My health insurance and domestic healthcare system will cover the bulk of it, so I’m paying only slightly more then surgeons in the US,Canada, and Europe.Makes sense.
He does charge an obscene amount of money for what he does. You could travel to the US, Mexico, or Canada and still save a third on what you would pay him.
Good doctor, though.
I like that. You are lucky! My health insurance and domestic healthcare system will cover the bulk of it, so I’m paying only slightly more then surgeons in the US,Canada, and Europe.
His prices are ridiculous for non citizens though

I had a very short consultation with him, just a few minutes, on Skype. I got a good impression of him, however, the consultation was so short so I couldn't analyze him very well.Forgot to update. He was clearly not interested in doing an exhaustive consult over Skype, and was hesitant to ballpark anything.
It was also apparent he does not read his own emails, as he had no idea why we were having the consult. He said he wouldn't charge if I came in, and even tried to downplay how far away I was by saying he worked on a guy from Ireland (who I actually suspect was the Medpor implant guy - admittedly one of the best results I've ever seen). Who cares that I'd have to fly to FUCKING Boston, I guess.
You could smell the Harvard scent coming through the screen, from his suit to smirk. Quite a character. All said and done, I will be in the northeast in a few weeks on the company dime so booked a consult. Will update again.

did he say anything else interesting in the consultTo update:
Visited his office last week. Went exactly how I predicted. He suggested implants for the under eye, though I need to get clarification on the specifics.
Didn't perform my usual routine of 20 questions...was tired at the end of my business trip and honestly felt I needed to play within the parameters of his attention span. High class gentleman, however. Having spent the previous night in a Cambridge Airbnb, I can say his distinguished essence seemed another vivid fixture among the known elements of elite academia - that is, he is meant to exist in the space.
Fuck this shit. A nepotism placed bitch has to learn from somewhere. Ask him if she'll be the one doing it and demand to pay less or tell that lazy oldcel to F off.As far as his implant suggestion, he said it would be a few days in a hotel. I really did most of the talking, but found it nerve-wracking that he had two assistants with him the entire time as I explained my condition. Usually I wouldn't care, but I'm not altogether a fan of this method. It's as if they want witnesses around in case they botch you. I also had the feeling that one of the assistants - a doctor herself - would be performing the procedure under his watchful eye.
Went to him earlier this year for infraorbital malars and jaw. Yes, his assistants actually do the surgery and he sits in a chair in the operating room to guide them.Fuck this shit. Can you post update pic if ur zygos we wanna see ur results.Went to him earlier this year for infraorbital malars and jaw. Yes, his assistants actually do the surgery and he sits in a chair in the operating room to guide them.
I have thick skin, so I am still very swollen in the submalar region and lower. Sharing pics would not do justice for Dr. Y and not give valid information. As soon as that swelling resolves I will. Can you post update pic if ur zygos we wanna see ur results.
I still like dr y better than eppley from the times he’s nailed it
Very interesting. Had no way of knowing for sure.Went to him earlier this year for infraorbital malars and jaw. Yes, his assistants actually do the surgery and he sits in a chair in the operating room to guide them.
They explicitly told me that Dr. Y performs the surgery and a fellow in the OR assists. I'm quite sure they wouldn't lie about this because it'd expose them to potentially nasty legal consequences.Went to him earlier this year for infraorbital malars and jaw. I've heard that from several sources. I am considering if that is incorrect and not true. Dr. Y's age doesn't seem to be an issue IMO, like others have said.
