Anas said, “Be patient, for an era will not come upon you but that what comes after is worse, until you meet your Lord. I heard it from your Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.”
Thawban reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Soon the nations will be summoned to you just like one is invited to a feast.” It was said, “Will we be few in that day?” The Prophet said, “No, rather you will be many in that day, but you will be scum like such flowing down a torrent. Allah will remove your esteem from the chests of your enemies, and Allah will insert feebleness in your own hearts.”
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “The best of my nation is the generation among whom I was sent, then those who follow them, then there shall appear people who testify while their testimony was not sought, who are treacherous, not trusted, and fatness shall spread among them."
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "You will follow the ways of those nations who were before you, span by span and cubit by cubit (i.e., inch by inch) so much so that even if they entered a hole of a lizard, you would follow them." The companions said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Do you mean the Jews and the Christians?" He said, "Who else?"
Prophet ﷺ said, “Once my nation considers five things permissible, then destruction will befall them: when cursing one another appears, wine is drunk, silk is worn [by men], musical instruments are played, and men suffice themselves with men and women suffice themselves with
women.”
