I am going to be 16 this november. I have acne on my face and chest and my back. 1 year ago doctor suggested to take the medicine of 20 mg for 6 months for permanent solution for acne but i neglected and was consistent for only 2 3 months skipping 2 3 weeks to have another dosage but my acne was nearly gone ,,in the winter it was okay but in the summer my acne came back drastically . I want to start it again but i have read that it causes hormonal imbalance like low testosterone and low growth hormone,,since i am only 5 7 at 16 i want to maximize my test and growth hormone . I also go to the gym so will it harm my muscle growth? ,,so should i take isotretinoin or just wait till 21 22 or acne naturally goes away.

If your prioritizing hormones Isotretinoin should be a last resort, if your 16 and worried abt height go check your plates bcuz you have to live with height your whole life, acne will disappear
