Blood shouldn’t be a reason to unconditionally love people. If they did something bad to you you shouldn’t just take it cause muh blood, you should judge them like you do others. Don’t have a blindspot for your family when they mistreat you. That’s a way to delude yourself into being a scapegoat. For example, my uncle used to blatantly favour his son over me, being around him was so uncomfortable, he clearly was indifferent to me. My cousin however was my mate. So I like my cousin I hate my uncle. It’s very simple, it’s a matter of how they treat you not blood.
