I’m 16 and wearing Invisalign braces with elastics to fix my overbite. Today my doctor told me my facial bones have already fused together much faster than he expected so not only is my overbite most likely permanent I am stuck with this face forever with no more change coming. The fact that I will look forever how I look now terrifies me. I understood the likelyhood of major change is unlikely but at least I clinged onto some cope that I am still growing. Well now I’m not so it is officially over
