she was at a critical moment in her life and i lacked the clarity to see it at that point.
on top of that, she was on tinder, so i was competing with who knows how many guys.
i needed an insane amount of mental strength to even have a sembalnce of a chance.
but the fact that she left the city and moved back to her hometown a year later means that she didnt find a guy that could keep her around.
it also proved that she was very sheltered and didnt have big ambitions or dreams; she just wanted a decent salary to survive and spend on her interests.
there rly was nothing i could have done, i was a stupid kid back then and couldnt understand that a working woman in her mid 20s may be looking for other things besides looks
