started fucking up big time at work because of extreme alcoholism in the last 2-3 years.
lost a case over a stupid mistake in my brief that got exploited by the opposing counsel. since i convinced my client it was a sure win (it should have been), i promised i'd pay all the procedural expenses if we lose.
the problem is, i tend to be an asshole and inflate the lawyer's fees as much as possible because the losing side is obliged to pay for it, which means i'll have to pay cca 8k EUR because of my alcoholism induced brain fart that caused the fatal error. what a waste of money.
