When I worked 6 days a week years back I still couldn't afford a studio in my area. +>$1,400.00 U.S.D. a month for 300 sq. ft.

I live in San Diego — one of the most expensive cities in the country and you can get a studio for less than 1400. You might not be in the city proper, but lol at thinking you need 1400 to rent in most of the country.

In the city itself it’s expensive. But if you’re in a suburb it’s not that high. There’s really only a handful of cities where a studio is more than 1200/month. Most of the country it’s under 1000.

You just spend 100-200 less dollars (of which many could not pay in the first place) to live with a bunch of wild apes screaming & shooting.

Anywhere that's under $1,000 a month is often in a shithole place in the middle of flyover states -- i.e., living in an abandoned, cold dump.
