For those of you who watched Fairly OddParents, you might have remembered Timmy's dad's unexplained hatred for Dinkleberg. When I was a kid, I didn't think much of it and assumed it was just a running gag that didn't have any meaning, since I had a weak understanding of politics at the time and wasn't extremely racially aware. I was recently reminiscing about the show, and when i thought about the Dinkleberg case, I finally understood the underlying meaning of Timmy's dad's hatred for him. This was legitimately one of the biggest revelations that was uncovered in my life. Most of us just assumed that Timmy's dad was just a stereotypical cartoon dad idiot, but the character was subtlety trying to teach the show's audience the truth. It's such a shame that this masterpiece of a show has a sheboon as the protagonist of its sequel.
